PostNord Simple ConnectPrivacy

Support

PostNord Simple Connect makes PostNord shipping labels from your Shopify order page. One carrier, no warehouse system, nothing to learn.

Write to info@zodiapps.com. We answer on weekdays, usually within a day. Include your store's myshopify address and, for a label problem, the order number.

Getting started

  1. Connect your PostNord account. On the app's home page, enter your PostNord customer number. Your store's address and contact are filled in for you; change them if you ship from somewhere else.
  2. Map your shipping methods. Under Shipping, each shipping rate from your checkout is listed. Pick the PostNord service it means, the label size and the countries. Orders with an unmapped rate still get a label; you choose the service on the order page.
  3. Choose a plan. Both plans start with a 14 day free trial and can be changed or cancelled at any time on the Plan page.

Making a label

Open the order, choose More actions, then Get Shipping Label. The label is made with the mapped service. You can untick items or lower their count to ship part of the order; the rest can get its own label later. Print label opens the label with your browser's print dialog. Fulfill marks the items as fulfilled in Shopify with the PostNord tracking number, and your customer gets Shopify's shipping notification.

The order's Print menu also has Print Shipping Label, for printing a label again.

Questions we get

Can I offer PostNord prices at checkout?
Yes. Under Shipping, turn on rates at checkout and choose which services to offer. Shopify asks the app for live prices from PostNord's list for the parcel's weight. This needs Shopify's carrier-calculated shipping feature, included with the Advanced and Plus plans and available as an add-on or with yearly billing on other plans.
The label is wrong, can I cancel it?
PostNord labels cannot be cancelled, but an unused label costs nothing. Choose Remove label on the order page to forget it and make a new one.
An order is too heavy for the service.
The app splits it by the weight limit you set in the shipping map and makes one label per parcel.
Which countries does the app work in?
Stores with a PostNord agreement in Sweden, Denmark, Norway or Finland, shipping domestically and abroad with PostNord's services.
